VF-Engineering designed this kit from the ground up using the infamous "bullet proof" Vortech Engineering supercharger unit. The key to the design of this supercharger kit is the simplicity in which it can be bolted-on. The kit is supplied with every part needed to get your car up and running supercharged on the same day. The 24v VR6 is a deceivingly fast car but with the supercharger and the factory 6 speed gearbox it is hard to stay within the speed limit. The supercharged car feels as solid with an infallable idle stability as stock. Power climbs progressively with rpm and pretty soon you run out of road. Performance, reliability and stock feel were major factors in the extensive R&D carried out over a perod of 2 years in California. Custom proprietary GIAC software is supplied with this kit to safely re-align all fuelling and engine management parameters. The materials and manufacturing processes used were selected to match the OEM components as closely as possible. With OEM parts being used wherever possible. The quality and clear thought in the design of this kit is of a high expectation. Horsepower is increased from 203HP to 305HP with the stage 2 kit. REV limiter is increased to 7000 RPM, completely removing soft rev limiters.
