VF-Engineering designed this kit from the ground up; being the first in the market to build such a kit using the infamous "bullet proof" Vortech Engineering supercharger unit. The key to the design of this supercharger kit is the simplicity in which it can be bolted-on. The kit is supplied with every part needed to get your car up and running supercharged on the same day. Performance, reliability and stock feel were major factors in the extensive R&D carried out over a perod of 2 years in California. Horsepower is increased from 175HP to 250HP with this stage 1 kit. The RPM limiter is increased to 7000, while the the soft rev limiter is removed completely. Custom proprietary GIAC software is supplied with this kit to safely re-align all fuelling and engine management parameters. PLEASE NOTE: This kit includes GIAC software. In order to have the software installed into your ECU you have 2 options. You may either bring your ECU to any GIAC dealer for the free software installation or you may ship your ECU to VF Engineering for the installation. If shipping your ECU you will be required to pay the shipping to VF Engineering. VF Engineering will then install the software into your ECU and ship your ECU back to you free of charge via UPS ground. If you want the ECU shipped back via any method other than UPS ground, you will be required to pay the difference.
