Power Slot Pro Stop rotors utilize a Vac-U-Slot design to shed heat and gases. Ridding the rotor of heat and gases greatly improves stopping power. And in wet, raining conditions, the Vac-U-Slot helps push water off the braking surface for better stopping power. The Vac-U-Slot also serves as a visual wear indicator. The slot is machined to the rotor’s minimum thickness where it crosses the outside edge. If you cannot see the slot along the outside edge, the rotor has worn down to its discard depth.
Designed for the performance enthusiast who wants the look of a cross drilled brake rotor without the inherent cracking problems, Power Slot’s Pro Stop rotors give you the best of both worlds. As the brake pad contacts the rotor, the dimples turn black, simulating the cross-drilled look.
Power Slot rotors are constructed using OE replacement blanks, meeting and often exceeding OE specifications. They are then machined in house by Power Slot and finally cadmium plated to protect the rotors from corrosion and give them a nice silver finish. Power Slot rotors will perform better than OE replacement rotors and have a longer life span under normal braking conditions.
