The Neuspeed Short Shifter provides a true shorter throw shift lever! While others simply cut the handle shorter, Neuspeed engineered the mechanical advantage to shorten the throw while maintaining a smooth, precise shift and eliminating the notchy feel associated with stock and other so-called short shifters. Others try to mimic Neuspeed's Short Shift Kits, but nobody provides the precise fit, performance, and value synonymous with Neuspeed, because Neuspeed specializes in Audi and VW. These are beefy, solid shifters that can take all the fast shifts you can throw - they are all engineered to perform.
Neuspeed Short Shift Kits are precision made for each and every single application - no universal kits! As such, they feature a throw reduction of 40%, CNC machined steel billet handles, or CNC machined billet 6061 T6 aluminum components. As with all Neuspeed products, all necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included.
PLEASE NOTE: Only fits up to 2006.5, The part number on the shifter will be 1K0 711 051 J.
