Designed especially for the 1.8T VW engine family by Neuspeed, the hi-flo design flows 70% more air than the factory air inlet pipe, and gains an extra 5-7 hp. To do this, Neuspeed made the casting larger, made smoother curves, and eliminated the sharp factory bend. Others offer a crude, welded piece that is difficult to fit, but only the Neuspeed custom aluminum casting has a bolt-on factory-look and perfect fit. Fits all FWD Golf IV, Jetta IV, Beetle, Quattro and FWD 180 hp Audi TT 1.8T engines. NOTE: Does not fit 2002 5 speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, Audi A4, or Passat B5 vehicles.)
