This wastegate actuator, if assembled with the yellow colored spring, which is rated to a base pressure of 10-15 PSI, will increase the boost output of the application to a degree that will exceed the ability of the stock fuel system to maintain the necessary supply of fuel. Because of this, we must recommend that a high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) upgrade be installed, and the necessary fuel pump specific software also be utilized prior to the installation of this actuator. We recommend using software, that offers the ability to adjust boost, fuel, and timing settings to best compliment this wastegate actuator, paired with a HPFP upgrade, in order to be able to supply ample fueling.

If this product is purchased with the intent of increasing the boost output of the turbocharged system, we cannot guarantee compatibility, nor the ability to increase the boost output beyond a level that is within the parameters set by the engine-management-system. whether that system is factory or aftermarket.
