Cross drilled rotors have been used in motorsports for years. Cross drilling increases surface cooling area for better heat dissipation, in addition to increasing the flow through ventilation. The perforations allow an escape route for the gasses created by the heating of the brake pad material. Keeping rotor and pad temperature down reduces the risk of brake fade and pad wear. To assure the highest quality and accuracy all BMP design cross drilled rotors are manufactured by one of Europe's leading O.E.M. brake rotor manufacturers. The cross drilling is performed during the original manufacturing process of the brake rotor. This one step machining assures you high accuracy and perfect balance. This is one of the reasons the BMP cross drilled rotors are all T.U.V. approved. Your car requires 2 each, front and rear. Due to the nature of this product the warranty does not cover warpage due to overheating, or track abuse.
