The rear suspension of your Volkswagen pivots on only two pick-up points. The axle beam serves as a torsional component which twists under loading in corners or over bumps. Most of these stresses from the rear suspension are transmitted to the rear chassis of the vehicle. To help counter this problem, the rear stressbar bridges the gap between the two upper rear shock towers. Unlike its competitors, the Autotech Rear Stressbar will not severely reduce your car's ability to carry cargo. Made of high quality T6 aluminum, this bar is light, strong, and aesthetically pleasing. Autotech's unique center adjuster allows for easy installation and adjustment. No drilling required.
