All 1996 and later 2.0L 8V engines are equipped with single valve springs from the factory. Autotech recommends converting to dual springs when using high lift performance camshafts. They have a special set of dual valve springs designed specifically for these heads. The set comes complete with new lower spring seats and titanium upper retainers.
