Stage I ECU Upgrade

APR chips are available in an octane specific version for the octane of gasoline that you typically run in your car. The power that the chip makes also depends on which ECU is in your vehicle. The S4 4.2 ECU can be upgraded with either the use of a soldered in EMCS module, or DirectPort Programming. For more information on the ECU upgrade, please see the charts below

Prices listed above are for one performance program such as the 91 octane or 93 octane file.  If you are interested in the ability to switch back to stock, or would like to be able to access multiple programs (i.e. Stock, 91 octane, 93 octane), the available options below are an additional expense on top of the price above.  Switching between stock and performance, or between any of the files installed on your car is performed through your cruise control switch.
