Got polished splitter, came with instructions, on A4 1.8T models the splitter has to be installed from under the car and as the instruction says must be installed in opposite direction from old 710N valve. I installed mine with 2 clicks pass recommended Forge factory setting, (settings are on cover of box, save box) works perfectly at that setting, great woosh sound and no CEL lights. Because the valve sits vertical on this installation, can reach down on top of valve to readjust clicks, (very tight fit so car has to be cold). Also in stalled a manual boost control the same time, can peak 17psi hold 10psi in 5th on highway acceleration and no CEL. Works great make sure to get the Neuspeed Torque Damper, from here as well, pulling that much boost you will need it, works better than Audi OEM damper.

| The Forge Hybrid BOV/Diverter works great. it was easy to install. Mine came with the adjustment set to the weakest setting, so i turned the top until it was in the middle of the range. i might tighten it up some more...
CON: Shipping was VERY slow, with minimal updates to the status. |

I just bought Forge hybrid DBV and installed it over my Audi TT, I do not know is the spring adjustment or what but it makes rattle snake noise instead of regular blow off noise. Do you know what cause this noise? thanks

Splitter valve works like a charm. I currently have it as a both blow off and recirculation valve, milking the best of both worlds. Performance wise, the splitter valve holds boost well. Sound wise, the blow off sound is fairly loud and definitely turns heads when you let it spool and drool. The valve is easy to install and adjust depending on how many pounds you're boosting.

The Forge Splitter BOV is outstanding! install was way too easy, and i love how its adjustable. Running this for a few months now and not CEL or any problems at all, i run it 50/50, it's absolutely amazing how well it works! i highly recommend this to anyone with a turbo.

The product is very well built and not to bad to install. It sounds very nice. Not to much of a high pitch BOV noise bu more of a "Choosh" noise. The only things you will need that arent included in the pacakage are 2 high pressure hose connectors.

Overall this is an amazing piece for any VW. It took me a little bit to get adjusted, but that's the same with any performance part you get. What I love about this part is how heavy duty it is. I have looked at other diverter valves and they just don't feel like they're made for the job. I know on the page it says the engine cover won't fit back on, but on the beetles and I think the jettas, it will, so you can keep that stock look in your engine compartment.

The Forge Hybrid BOVs are a great product. They allow for a slightly quicker spool up of your turbos, which is more evident if you have upgraded from the KO3s. They also give a deeper souding engine note. Do not expect the loud poping sound and whoosh noise that a true BOV will give but they do create a much more subtle blow off noise during shifts at high rpms. Also they are easy to install but will stand upright unlike the installation picture shown for the 1.8t engine and you will need to buy a new suction hose during installation on a 2.7t because the larger valves stand to tall for the OEM formed hose (about 10 dollars at an automotive store). Overall this product is a must for upgraded turbos or ECUs because the poor design of the OEM diverter valves will fail under higher boost levels causing substantial loss in power.

This is one great blow off valve. Forge Mototrsports has combined the best of both worlds. It's better than the factory diverter valve with the cheap rubber gaskets by using a metal piston and it gives you the benefits (and yeah the whoosh sound)of a blow off valve by improving the turbos performance
